Renfrewshire has three Local Nature Reserves (LNR’s) Durrockstock Park Being one of them. Durrockstock Park is located in Foxbar and is designated to safeguard the Nature Conservation and improve the site as an environmental education resource.

RERG assists local charity in need

RERG provided support to the Lamont Farm Project in Erskine to improve their property. The Lamont Farm Project is a small local charity whom take in rescue animals with dedicated volunteers who care for the animals and ensure there needs are catered for at the farm. RERG carry out Environmental Improvements across Renfrewshire while assisting those furthest away from employment to gain skills and experience. Glenfield Steps Opening

Local Woodland project on path to success

Locals who enjoy a walk in the woods got some welcome news this week from a special volunteer project. A key section of the woodland footpath in Glenfield Woods, Glenburn, has been upgraded by a team of 20 volunteers. The group were supported in their efforts with funding from Renfrewshire Council and the national Paths for All charity.
